About Us
W.C. (Bill) Lewis started his business like many young men who had a dream to be on their own. At 16, Bill was probably the youngest licensed plumber in Maine and started working side jobs for a local plumbing company ... and for the next ten years. By the time he was 18 he had fulfilled all the requirements for his journeyman’s license which he receive at age 19. Three years later, he earned his master plumber’s license and went onto obtain his gas and heating license.
During the recession in 1981, Bill started working for himself. After a brief stint with his former employer in the fall, he started his own business in January 1982. W.C. Lewis Plumbing, Heating and Cooling has continued to expand their service to include commercial buildings. They celebrated their 30th year in business in 2012.
At W.C. Lewis, they believe in providing professional service at reasonable price. Our team of professionals are fully licensed/insured and are qualified in all products they install.
